It includes: - Frames per second (FPS), showing how many frames are received per second. Compare to the camera stream profile in the **XProtect Management Client**. - Video codec, compression standard (e.g., H.264). - Video resolution, such as 1280x720 for 720p, for image clarity. ### Level 2 Video Diagnostics ![[Pasted image 20241111142750.png]] Building on Level 1, this level adds details about how the video is transmitted and processed, useful for troubleshooting network or performance issues. It includes: - All Level 1 information (FPS, codec, resolution). - Multicast status, showing if the stream uses multicast (On/Off). - Hardware acceleration status, indicating if GPU is used for decoding (On/Off). ### Level 3 Video Diagnostics ![[Pasted image 20241111143106.png]] This advanced level is for system administrators, offering in-depth data for troubleshooting and optimization. It includes: - All Level 1 and 2 information, plus: - Source state (e.g., Connected), confirming camera connectivity. - Image availability, ensuring the feed is active. - Received FPS with a range, showing actual frame rate likely directly at the XProtect Recorder. - GPU details, like name and PCI, if hardware acceleration is enabled. - Bitrate and GOP length for compression efficiency. - Lost frames, indicating transmission issues. - Render queue statistics, such as average size and overflow/underflow counts, for rendering performance.
